Roy T. Goodwin Contractors, Inc. was founded in 1971 to serve the exterior concrete needs of Nashville and the surrounding communities. We continue to work for Municipalities, Tennessee Department of Transportation, and General Contractors.

It all started with a red cap & a hard work ethic. Roy T. Goodwin started from nothing. Roy T. made a decision many years ago to drop out of high school and begin working to provide for his sisters. From there, he chased down as much work as he could find. With his red cap on, he consistently pursued a construction company until finally he was put to work. He blew the others out of the water with the amount of hard physical labor he could do with minimal time and it was from that moment on that Roy T. Goodwin stood out.

He continued working until one day, in 1971, he decided to start his own company – Roy. T Goodwin Contractors, Inc.. He carved the foundation for many generations to come and Roy T. Goodwin Contractors has only grown larger and stronger since. Partnering with other hard working companies, governments and small businesses – the generations have changed but the foundation set 50 years ago by a boy in a red cap remain. Roy G. Goodwin took the Presidential title after his father retired, and Brannon Goodwin is the current President of the company. While they have each been individually themselves, they firmly believe one thing to be true as a leader —
