A full service underground utility contractor from middle Tennessee, MidSouth Utility Group has over 40 years of experience installing virtually every type of underground utility with “Open-cut” and “Directional Bore” methods. This family operated company has always taken pride in completing every project efficiently, while maintaining quality. Over the years MidSouth Utility Group has successfully completed projects for costumers such as AT&T, Williams Communications, MCI, Bell South, Level (3) Communications, Sprint Telecom, as well as multiple City Governments and Utility Districts across the nation.

Directional Boring – Horizonal directional drilling has become a specialty for MidSouth Utility Group over the years. Buying their very first Horizonal Drill Rig in 1992, MidSouth has been directional boring since the method first became popular in the early 1990s.

Trenching & open-cut – MidSouth has experience in all sizes of Ductile Iron, PVC, and HDPE pipeline. MidSouth has installed Waterline, Sanitary Sewer, and Storm Sewer for many Citys and Utility Districts across the south eastern U.S.

Fiber Optics Telecommunications – has been a specialty for MidSouth Utility Group for nearly two decades. MidSouth has been a master contractor for Bell South and AT&T since 2003, and has completed many, many individual contracts for them as well.
