Mike Campbell II had a dream in 2001 to run his own business. He apprenticed under two other third generation flooring contractors to get his footing and experience needed. In 2002 he started his own company in the middle of September. In the beginning he started with simple laminate projects and subcontracted for a new flooring company in Altamonte Springs that only sold laminate products. With determination and a hard work ethic he took on more and more flooring product applications as years went by. From the demand of hard surface projects in 2004 he flew to be factory trained by ARDEX a cement manufacturing company in Pittsburg, PA. Also in 2004 he attended two of the factory training programs with MAPEI, one for Floor Covering Installations and the other for Tile and Stone Installation systems. At these training programs he was able to obtain the tools needed to grow his business. In 2006 Campbells Flooring joined the NWFA and adopted their business principles (Standards of Professional Conduct). Once he joined this highly recognized flooring organization he attended more training programs and added hardwood floor sanding and refinishing to his arsenal of services Campbell’s Flooring was capable of providing. As the years go by more training has been added and attended by Mike and his team.
